Privacy Policy – Please read carefully and in full
Commsworks Ltd T/A Parallel Blue and Parallel Platinum (“Commsworks Ltd”, “Parallel Blue”, “Parallel Platinum” ,“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to complying with this Privacy Policy, which describes how we, as an event management company, collects and uses the personal data you provide to us. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect about you, how we collect it, how we use it, with whom we may share it, and what choices you have regarding our use of your personal data. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of your personal data and how to contact us.
This Privacy Policy applies to the event services that we provide to you, including but not limited to, managed meetings and events, business travel consulting & booking and event production, including via our websites and applications that display or link to this Privacy Policy (hereinafter collectively, the “Services”). Once you leave such websites and applications for others, the privacy policies of the other websites or applications shall apply.
Our privacy practices may vary in other countries in which we operate to reflect local legal requirements. We materially comply with applicable laws in the jurisdictions in which we operates, including the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by May 25, 2018 in its handling of personal data of persons in the European Economic Area. We will only use the data you provide to carry out the services contracted by you (or your employer or business acting on your behalf and with your consent) and to send you information regarding our services. We may also use the data to comply with our legal requirements.
If you submit your details via any page on this website, we will assume that you have read this policy and agree to the rules.

What personal information is collected about me?
When you enter and send your details in our contact page, we ask that you to give us your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, which we deem to be personal information. We may then collect personal information about you that is relevant to your travel arrangements or that will enable us to provide you with the goods and services you require.
How do you use that personal information?
We will use the information you provide to undertake the services we are contracted to provide you with. We may also use the information you give us to send you notifications about our business partners’ products and services, new events, special offers or event, travel news that we think might be of interest to you and also to let you know if you have won a competition. This is referred to as ‘Legitimate Interest’.
You can tell us at any time that you do not wish us to use personal information to send you notification of any new events, special offers or event news from Parallel Blue or Parallel Platinum that you wish all of your data to be erased by us by writing to Paul Martin – Data Contoller at the address given at the end of this policy or by e-mailing us at enquire@parallelplatinum.com
If you write to or e-mail us, please include your full name, address and e-mail address so that we can check our records to see who you are. Once you have let us know that you want us to cease using the personal information and/or erase your data from all our records, we will do so immediately.
Do you share my information with anyone else?
We will not provide your personal details to any third parties unless the law says that we have to do this or it is in connection with a service you have contracted with us and where your details are required by a third party to effectively carry out this service (eg a hotel, airline, tour operators, car hire operators) or if we believe that we need to do this to protect and defend our or your rights, property or personal safety. Where your information is shared with any third party, they should also treat your data in accordance with the respective law. Where data is shared with a third party specifically in connection with a service you have contracted us to provide, we will provide full details of who this information is being shared with and how it will be used.

Parallel Blue and Parallel Platinum has a legitimate interest when processing data within an existing client relationship, when it processes personal data for direct marketing purposes, to prevent fraud or to ensure the network and information security of your IT systems.

We place great importance on the security of your personal information and we have taken extensive security measures to try to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information that we collect and hold. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information will not occur, we will do our best to make sure that this does not happen by storing your information securely and ensuring all our employees are aware of their responsibilities through regular updates and training. Any breach of this policy will be reported in accordance with our responsibilities under the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any other local, applicable law.
Where is the information stored?
Any personal information you send to us is stored using ‘Office 365’ which is a highly secure cloud-based storage system operated by Microsoft. Access to these files can only be gained by authorised, trained employees of Commsworks Ltd T/A Parallel Blue and Parallel Platinum, to fulfil the legitimate running of the business and its services.
Cross-Border Data Flows
The third parties we disclose your personal information to (our suppliers, travel service providers, call centre operator, website manager, cloud infrastructure and data centre providers) may be located overseas.
Generally, we will only disclose your personal information to these overseas entities in connection with facilitation of your travel booking and/or to enable the performance of administrative and technical services by them on our behalf.
Information about other travellers
If you provide us with information about other people travelling with you (for example, family members), you should make them aware of this Privacy Policy and any privacy collection notices we provide you.
Links and Social Plug-Ins
When you click on a third party’s link from our website, or from an ad for a third party served by one of our service providers, you will enter that third party’s site, over which we have no control. We are not responsible for third party sites. You should carefully review the privacy statements of any other sites you visit, because those privacy statements will apply to your visit to such other sites and may be very different from this Privacy Policy.
Our website includes social plug-ins, such as the Instagram button, and gives you the option to post information about your activities on our Site to your social media accounts. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social plug-ins are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.
Your acceptance of these terms
If you send us your details from our contact page, by email/phone or by any other form of communication to us, we will assume that you have read through this policy carefully and that you understand and accept it.
If you do not wish us to use personal information to send you notification of any events, exclusive offers or event news you should ask us to stop using your personal information for that purpose as mentioned above.
If you do not agree to anything in this policy, then you should not enter your details into our contacts page or provide us with your information. If we change our privacy policy, we will post these changes on this page. If the change in our privacy policy affects the way in which we may use your personal information, then we will do our best to contact you directly to make sure you agree to this proposed change.
Your rights
You have a legal right to a copy of all the personal information that we hold about you. You also have a right to ask us to correct any mistakes in that information. As mentioned above, you also have a right to ask us to stop using your personal information and to erase this from our records at any time.
